Puppy Time Meetings

  • Tuesdays, 7-8PM on campus

  • Open to everyone

  • Learn about service dogs, practice training drills, and pet the pups!

  • Contact us for exact location

Puppy Trainings

  • Wednesdays, 7:30-8:30PM at Fidos For Freedom, Inc. in Laurel, MD

  • Limited spots available for carpooling 

  • Visit the training center where all Fidos dogs are trained and learn new commands

  • Contact us to get on carpool list

Membership Types

Puppy Sitter

  • Must be an active club member for 1 semester before applying

  • Minimum 1 semester commitment

  • Attend Wednesday Puppy Trainings from 7:30-8:30pm at Fidos For Freedom, Inc. once a month

Support Student

  • Must be a UMD student

  • Attend meetings, trainings, fundraisers, and outreach events when available

Puppy Raiser

  • Must be an active member for at least 1 semester before applying

  • Sophomore, Junior, or Senior UMD Student

  • Living off-campus or in on campus semi-suite, suite, or apartment style housing

  • Minimum 1 year commitment

  • Attend Wednesday Puppy Trainings from 7:30-8:30pm at Fidos For Freedom, Inc. every week

  • Passionate about helping people and learning about the public health implications of disabilities
